wifi is greyed out and cant turn on

This exact problem happened with my Daughters 4s after upgrade.

We turned Airplane mode and do not disturb on

Turned off the phone for 10 Minutes

We turned it back on and switched the airplane mode and do not disturb to off

and what do you know it worked

Saved me from arguing with customer service

This worked for me:

>go to settings and turn your airplane mode on as well as your do not disturb mode..

>turn your phone off.. wait for 3-5 minutes.. then turn it back on..

>then turn your do not disturb mode and airplane mode off..

Switch off - put in the freezer for 4 - 5 minutes, remove and switch on.

I think Apple are real Theives. And thats comming from me, a 14year old girl.
We pay X ammount of money, and put our trust in their "Amazing products" then wake up one morning and get slapped in the face with problems like these. One day I was texing, I left my phone for about 2 minutes then came back to continue, and all my contacts were gone. Vanished. When I did an Icloud restore I was lucky enough to get back a few of them. Not even the majority.
Now Im faced with this Wifi Delema. And my parents have to do all the talking and take out money to pay for something that should be taken care of by Apple's expense. Honestly, one day im gonna walk in there and throw a fit and see if i get Results.😐
