Quicktime timecode change?

Is there a way to get quicktime to show normal video timecode instead of the present one hundredth of a second code (current time) in movie info?

Mac OS X (10.4.6)

OK, I've got it.
All you have to do is export any movie.
Go to Export.
Choose Movie to Quicktime Movie.
Click on Options.
Go to Frame Rate.
Choose Custom even if the rate is already correct.
Type in 30.
Hit OK.
Save movie.
The next time it's opened, it will have the fraction
as your frame number.
Great, problem solved.
Now to get it to show up in the movie window to the
left of the play bar.

Don't believe this will work in QT Pro -- just Streamclip -- but I could be wrong.
