IPAD 4 screen flicker when I'm with the App Store

Hi,

I just have my new Ipad4 last January 27, I noticed that while downloading a certain Apps in App Store then scrolling to look for more application my screen would flicker like flashing or something blinking on it. I don't know what happened, why is it like that? Is it somewhat connected with hardware problem or does Ios 6 version still have a bug? I've tried using safari to browse and scroll somethings and google chrome its not like that. It's just when I go to App Store that will be the time my screen would flicker? Hope you could help me regarding it. Thank you so much.

By now I have noticed it in several apps, at least 5 I'd say, including my banking app and Facebook. I've tried system restore and replaced it with a new one but no luck.

My advice? Pray that a software update fixes it. But just for kicks I think it would be cool if you took it to the Apple store just to see if you might be able to learn anything from them, or MAYBE you can get a new one that works properly. Who knows?

I have sent mine to apple store, they are diagnosing the issue, ill inform you guys on the results 🙂

@maheshmadhavan i have the same issue but in my case the flickering only happens on app store, not on any other app, i think you should take it to apple for them to check 🙂.

Hi,

can you please check wjether the screen flickers in gmail app.. i can see the flicker mildly on gmail too.guess it is a hardware defect

Hi All,

I just got back my iPad after diagnosis from apple care. They have said it's a software issue and nothing related to hardware. Moreover, I checked a few iPads on display at an apple store and still found the same issue.

And yes my gmail app is also flickering. It's the software ;)

i am facing a same problem .. my ipad screen also flickers in app store and gmail app .. i went to the service centre they told me that its a software problem ..and not an hardware problem .. they reinstalled the software but the problem was not resolved .. i checked my brothers iPad 4 their is no no such problem in his iPad gmail app runs absolutely fine .. what should i do ??
