Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I have read a lot about MacBook fixes but nothing specific about Mac Pro. The machine is only about a year and a half old...should my Airport card be fried already? Did all the diagnistics...nothing. I heard about unplugging and holding down the alt/command/P/R keys but haven't tried it yet. Thanks!

Try resetting the SMC. Incidentally, you did not really describe what you are trying to do.

I just turned on my Mac this morning and the Airport was gone...no connection. The internet is working because I am on my MacBook now! I will try to reset the SMC...as soon as I find out what it is! Thanks, Barry!

No Airport card...any suggestions? I have verified disk and still... I've heard that the connection could be bad.
