My iphone 5 suddenly died. It will not turn on when I plug it in. It was working well the night before and nothing happened to it over night. The battery was charged.

Ohhhh WOW this is amazing. I had the same problem as everyone else. Phone was working fine yesterday, put on charge overnight as I always do, only to find this morning it's nothing but a blank screen. I removed the sim card and replaced it again, still blank. Tried different power chords and power points, still no success so I got online after my husband wanted me to go to our local Telstra shop (20mins away). It's freezing outside and I didn't want to go out, so I got online, googled my problem and found I wasn't alone. THANK YOU SO MUCH for such a quick easy fix and I didn't leave the comfort of my home. Hubby was just as surprised as I was... Sharon,

Tried everything meaning?

Did you plug it into a different charger? A different USB/Lightning Cable? A different outlet?

Allow it to charge for an hour?

Clean out both the connection points with a soft, clean, toothbrush?

Reset the device by holding down both the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continuing to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds - no kidding)?

Cheers,
