Okay, Lawrence, since you know everything about everything, how do I sync what is in my iTunes library to my iPhone 5 without deleting EVERYTHING on my iPhone? I don't want to look up and download the 20 different songs on my iPhone again just because iTunes doesn't have a blatant option to drag music onto my phone, that it used to have.

EDIT: I just went ahead and deleted over 30 songs in my library because I wanted to turn on 'Manually manage music and videos' which makes absolutely no ******* sense as to why I had to delete my library to do so.

i am using iphone 5 and, when i try to sync with itune i lost all songs what i had in my phone😢. Now there is no songs showing in my Iphone and its taking too much time as well what can i do for take back my old song which i had in my phone.

It is a pity for you ! If you have backed up your music before, you can restore your iPhone data with iTunes or iCloud. If you have no backup before, you need to try to find ways to recover your lost songs from iPhone, but I think you can check your iTunes/ iCloud backup firstly. And you can refer to:If you need help restoring from an iCloud backup - Apple Support Then, you can transfer songs from pc/iCloud to iPhone 5.

I have this exact problem! I have hundreds of songs on my phone that we're once on my computer that I lost to a factory reset I had to perform, and now iTunes requires that I delete all of the songs off of my phone just to sync the few new ones I wish to add. What in the world?!

Everybody talks about how easy it is to add music to your iPhone using iTunes.

But nobody talks about the warning you get that before you Sync, iTunes is going to delete everything on your phone and then install everything that's in iTunes on your computer! That's a STUPID option!!! What about stuff that is NOT on my computer but IS on my phone - I lose that stuff! Apple wants you ti think it's that simple, but it's not. I've lost stuff off my phone more than once with the lovely Sync command.

iFunBox is a completely free program for Windows and Mac. I couldn't find a solution in any forums so I went to good old YouTube.

Here's a link to the program: http://www.i-fuunbox.com/

This is also the YouTube video I watched that led me to the program with instructions on how to use it. I was surprised by how easy it was after downloading heaps of different programs that ultimately would want me to pay to use it completely.

IT IS COMPLETELY FREE AND EASY TO USE! This is the solution that we're all looking for I think.
