There are plenty of German speaking users here, so feel free to post in German if you wish! 🙂

Apple only operate this worldwide community forum, plus one for Japan, but if you are looking for a forum in Germany about Apple try this:

You mean your run at 90%. 😉

Thanks to Steve, it has already been established that I am at 99.99%. 😝

Seriously - what language is that supposed to be? 😕 It's ok, don't worry, I'm sure there's an app for that. 😎

@ Klaus1:

Seems your maths is a bit iffy as well! 👿

That slip would obviously fall into the 0.01% allowed margin of error category, wouldn't it?? 😁

If you write frequently in German and other euro languagers like Italian or French you may like to use a German-Swiss or French-Swiss keyboard. You can change from umlaut ü to accent ù just with pressing a key.

Unfortunatly it is not easy to get a Swiss keiboard outside of Switzerland but if you have a chance I would suggest it. I would even support such a KB as a new Central Europe Standard. A simpler solution could be just loading the KB and show it on the screen.

Don't know if I could re-familiarize myself with a German keyboard; I learned typing on one, but will never forget my attempt at a first job with the Americans. Part of it was a typing test; I did not know that their keyboard layout would be different, so when they said "start" I started typing furiously and only stopped when told to. Only then did I look at what I had typed - it was a bit like pig-latin since the 'y' and 'z' are reversed (and I can't remember all the other differences). In any case: I got hired anyway..... and have now been using an American layout for way too many years.
