I downloaded Final Cut Pro X for Test. But my short Test movie will not been rendering. I still see the orange bars on top of the time line.
Do I have to buy the Product first?

FCPX does not need rendering to show yout movie while editing. There is a switch you can select to render in backgrond or not rendering at all. If it is rendering in background it will take time but you can see the movie.
The rendereng will be needed only to export your movie after editing.
This is the standard way of working, I believe it will be the same also with the Test.
