You need to get a third party app in order to use that printer. It is not AirPrint compatible. It way be a wireless printer, but if it is not AirPrint compatible, you need a third party app. Ther AirPrint printers are listed here and your printer is not on it.

Search the App Store for printing apps..... Print Central, Print Bureau and others are available. Canon may make their own printing app. You can also download apps to your computer so that you can use the computer as the print server. Look at Print Magic for Windows - assuming you use Window.
