Battery Life is dwindling too fast?

The apple website says the battery should be able to go through 1000 cycles before reaching 80% of the original power, Im at 77 cycles and 86%. What the heck? Ive had my computer for 6 months. I do not leave it plugged in over night or too long, I don't watch alot of movies on it and I rarely facetime. I do not game. It is for educational use most of the time. Ive done all the updates, I close apps I am not using.... Help!

MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Hi AllyDee9, It sounds like you need to make a trip to your nearest Apple store for a Genius Bar reservation. The battery issue is not one that you can fix on your own, and should not happen on a computer that you've had for 6 months. The Apple Tech Support person will diagnosis the battery issue for you and give you a solution, which should not cost you anything since you've owned the computer less than a year. Be sure you have an external back up of your computer before making the trip into the Apple store. Good luck!
