Your data is lost.......upsets me greatly that Apple does nothing about this obvious bug

This happend to my phone with last update and I had to go to Apple store and get a new phone. I was not using iCloud and had not synced with iTunes in about a month. I lost all my info. Sorry about that for you!!!

If you have backd up via iCloud your data shouldn't be lost.
