Is anyone experiencing more 3G network connectivity on Verizon's iPad after upgrading to OS 6.1?

After updating my iPad (version 3), Verizon 4G LTE, I noticed that my iPad no longer remains on 4G LTE when I am out in public locations that traditionally were where strong LTE signals existed.

I didn't notice it until after I Upgraded my iPad to OS 6.1. Is anyone out there knowledgeable about this particular problem? As anyone had the same problem? Is Apple aware of it?

I have had the same issue while traveling in Virginia after an upgrade to 6.1. I performed all the resets mentioned in the forum threads and they remedied the problem temporarily. I finally called Verizon and had me send them a new SIM card. I installed the new card and it took awhile for the system to completely provision the card. I forced a subscriber services/reprovision account step and the connection has been a lot more stable.

I find that the unit will drop to 3G when in a marginal LTE footprint and cannot revert back to LTE where the signal is stronger. I work for Verizon and it still acts flakey in our building even with LTE repeaters.

What PRL version is everyone running? Mine is 15189 (I could have swore that it was a higher number before the iOS upgrade)

I was given a new iPad. Worked for 5 days just fine then quit. Better than the last iPad but still not acceptable. It seems it is a Verizon issue.

My PRL is 15189 also and when I did the upgrade it told me my provider had a new file and I accepted it. Doing some reading our number should be like a 55252 number or in the 5**** range
