Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Ever since I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 6.1, connecting my phone to my Renault Multimedia USB gives no audio. Controls and playlist/track name via the renault interface are still fine though. My car is a Renault Megane estate Bose edition from 2012.
On iOS version 6 and before, this wasn't the case.
Playing tracks via blue tooth still works.

Same for me, connecting via a Dension adaptor for a 5 year old Mazda 6.
The audio just comes out of the phone speaker now. Nothing through the car speakers any more.
iOS 6.1 broke something with the audio output. I'm really upset about this.
Anyone got any clues as to what to do?
I tried to downgrade to 6.0.1, but there isn't any way to do that as Apple do not allow it.
A quick update - after attempting to restore to 6.0.1, and restarting my phone after that, I've just checked and my audio is back.
Don't know exactly what fixed it, but I do know a simple restart did not do it.
Restart worked for me!! Have a soundlink system for Toyota/Lexus! Have iPhone 5 with 30 pin-lightning adapter and all is well... Thank goodness lol
Since iOS 6.1update, no audio in my car anymore. How to solve?
