Hi, do you know what Format was used?
Does it show on the Desktop, or in Disk Utility?
If it's a "real" DVD-Video disc, it's not "formatted for Windows" (or anything) - it will just play on anything too. Even if it's a "burnt" disc in DVD-Video format, it will/should play on anything too.
Exactly what is on the disc? How was it produced? If it's NOT a DVD-Video format disc, does it contain a video data file? If so, what format is that in? Can you read the disc at all? Can you read the filename?
maybe you need to install the perian plugin for quicktime. it enables many videos to play on a mac that normally dont.
