Image Capture Scan Orientation

I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem and if they have found a solution. I use Image Capture with my HP Photosmart C7280 All-in-One to perform scans and when using the document feeder I cannot get the scans to orient is landscap. When I scan a source that is in landscape on the page and I tell Image Capture that it is landscape with the little pictographs it is ignored and the scan still comes out in portrait orientation with the image/text going up and down the page (rotated 90 degrees clockwise from what I was wanting).


Any thoughts on how to get Image Capture to obey the request to scan in landscape?

Thank you for your quick reply but I think you might have a different version of Image Capture than I do since your screen shot of the control panel looks different than the control panel on my version of Image Capture (version 6.2). A screen shot of the control panel on my version of Image Capture is below and as you can see there is no "Use Custom Size" check box under the resolution selector:
