Charges on my bank card from itunes when i havent purchased anything,why is this..help!!

Hi im new to ipads,have set up my account with card details,have downloaded free apps apart from two which were paid for yet i keep getting random charges on my bank card,can anyone please help me as i have no idea as to why this is happening..my bank is showing it is from itunes????
