Steve,

I too am attempting to send an album of photos in iPhoto 8.1.2 to my iPhone IOS 6 and itunes 11 on OS 10.6.8

I regret to say I see NONE OF THE ABOVE. No icons to the left. Nothing in the top right. Nothing in the left hand sidebar. No tabs. Nada.

The old iTunes let me do this in seconds. I've been at this 2 hours reinstalling IOS 6, itunes 11 and still no joy.

I can buy all the music I want- but I dont want any music. i want to send the photoshop files I created to my iPhone.

An image that correlated to what I'm seeing would help as there is nothing that looks like my display.

Ok lets re adjust the look and feel of your itunes

From the top menu (Ctrl B to show in windows)

View > Show Sidebar

Your device when connected will appear in the left hand panel

Click on your device

To the right you will see the summary page for your device

Along the top are various pages for Syncing

Info, Movies, TV Shows, Music

Photos is over to the right. Tou may have to widen your iTunes to see it.

Your Photo syncing is on that page

Steve,

Thanks that gets it.

I also had to disconnect.reconnet my iPhone after installing new IOS 6.1 to get it to be recognized.

But OMG what a kludgey GUI!

I am not a consumer of content, I produce it.

Why no PHOTOS folder along the left? Cant I add a photos folder?

There are icons for movies (videos) that I've produced.

The MUSIC has my voice memos - but my voice memos also have an icon - why both?

I dont buy TV shows, so that's a wasted icon.

There's an icon for the Voice Memos that are interviews I've conducted and have yet to transcribe.

Thanks for your help.

There never has been because all the content shown in the Left hand library is content that itunes manages

As you say do all your Photo Management in iPhoto and then select exactly whatt events, Faces etc you want to sync over to your devices.

There is no need to have the photo management software duplicated in itunes.
