Re-Publishing on i Web

Can someone please help me get out of this maze ?

I have amended the content of my original iWebsite and have been trying to republish it without success as the original site is still on line!

I contacted my host - HostPapa - who told me to empty the cache

I use a Mac OS X 10.8.2 and having contacted Apple to find out how to do this proceedure I was told to go to Preferences > Privacy and remove all web site data . I did this and the old web site was still there !! they then told me to 'Reset Safari' I did this and its still there !!

I tried republishing the new site to no avail

Is life long enough ??

Any help will be appreciated - Thanks

And in addition to what Jeff says, the existing site was named without capitals. When you publish as it's set at the moment it will be in a new folder with the capital letters, and the original folder won't be deleted. The domain name alone will redirect to the new version, but you will need to go into the server and delete the present folder or you will have this old duplicate which Google will index. You also have - as of the last time I checked - another duplicate set of the pages at root level and again you should remove these.
