Is there a way to fix blurry clips?
I found a blurry clip in one of the projects that I am editing. It seems like it was recorded blurry because of the zooming.
Is there a way to sharpen it a bit better?
Final Cut Pro X, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

You can try the sharpen effect under effects blur category. If the clip is to blurry nothing may help.
In inspector? I cannot find "blur category" in effects.
Only:
Color
Transform
Crop
Distort
Stabilization
Rolling Shutter
Spatial Conform
Compositing
and I cannot find blur in any of those.
No, look in the effects browser not the inspector. Third button from the left on the tool bar under the viewer.
Hmm.. I am looking and looking for the effects browser but cannot find it, nor the viewer. 😢
Hit Command-5 and it should appear.

Oh!! Oh!! The media browser!! I tried that before, but it didn't make sense to me that it was in the media browser you referred the effect to. I usually use transitions and text effects. I did not know of these effects!! I think of them as overlays, but not enhancement effects as overlays like sharpening etc.
It did not help, the footage is too blurry. But thanks anyway! I learned something new!
Actually.. It help a little bit. So I will at least add the effect to reduce the blur.
P.S. Though I was helped by the same user. Thanks for the help Jim! And for the command Al!
