Hi,
How can I find photos on iphone 4 that haven't been backed up on pc? I restored old phone to new one before downloading the photos from the new phone and now I only have the old photos.(I had the new phone for 2 months before connecting it to my pc to sync). Is there any place on the hardware of the phone that might still have the photos?

Nope, since you restored to a older backup your current pictures are gone.
You should've imported your pics to your computer first http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 as you would a digital camera.
If you have a recent backup, you may get lucky and recover your photos, if you don't then the pics are gone.
