iCloud calendar events disappearing

Just discovered 2 events missing from my icloud calendar this week, haven't had this issue for about a year. I'm moving all my events to google calendar (which I've never had any issues with) until Apple can provide a reliable calendar.

If events disappear on your mac:

(first, check your events exist on other devices or icould.com)

Then just sign out of your iCould account in "system preferences-->iCloud-->sign out".

No need to worry, just accept all and don't save.

When you sign in back, all restores perfectly.

I'm on iOS 10.3.1

1) Back up your data

2) Go to Settings > [Your Apple Settings] > iCloud and turn Calendars OFF

3) When prompted to delete or keep, select DELETE

4) Wait a few minutes and turn Calendar back ON

5) Events will slowly be restored and added back into your calendar

The first time I tried this, I did not see events from earlier in the year. To see older events:

6) Go to Settings > Calendar > Sync

7) It was defaulted to Events 1 Month Back, I changed the Sync setting to All Events

I see everyone keeps saying go to settings click mail then calendar then contacts then sync.... I don't know what iPhone product anyone is using but I do not have those options on iOS 10.3.1 in settings those options are all separate and no within each other.

Yeah, I had this problem too. I was stuck even after reading all of this, all I could think of was restarting my iPad. (I didn’t think it would work but it did). all You need to do is hold down the on/off button while holding the home button until the apple logo comes up and wait for it to turn back on again. It doesn’t delete any of your data or enything like that. It should be called refresh. It worked for me! Im really glad cause it was so annoying! Don’t waist your time with that other hard stuff.

I have the exact same problem. The weekly recurring entries appear both on my iPhone and my Macbook calendar. It's just on the iCloud version that they are gone.

This has also happened to me. All of my events are fine on my iPhone but icloud.com on my PC dropped all of my recurring events. It's very frustrating!!! I spent an hour and 20 minutes on the phone with apple 2 days ago and they couldn't fix it!

It sounds like there was a general iCloud event (maybe an update) on Feb. 6 that caused this problem. That's when mine started too.

Yeah, same exact thing happened to me. Many of my recurring schedules are completely gone.

This happened to me too, around the same time as the rest of you. Somehow it's comforting to know that it's a more widespread problem, since it must be something wrong with iCloud, not something that I did wrong or that's specific to my computer. Here's hoping they fix it soon!

I'm not very happy that Apple hasn't fixed this yet. I spend 1 hr 10min with two differnt technicians on the phone including a "senior" advisor and no one could help me. Not to mention all those minutes went down the drain.

I had the same issue at about the same time. Seem to only affect recurring events. All recurring events disappeared form my iCloud calendar and most from my iPhone.

Apple doesn't seem to be doing anything about this. So maybe we can at least help them diagnose and fix!

Question 1: did you all recently upgrade to Mountain Lion? I did so a few weeks ago.

Question 2: I noticed this problem with only SOME recurring events, mostly those that have weekly recurrence. Events with daily recurrence have not disappeared. Is this the same with others?

Question 3: how to get Apple Customer Support attention???
