Disappearing Events in icloud.com Calendar

The problem is still there this morning. I saw people reporting this issue already a year ago, making me worry if Apple is going to address this shortly.

If it hasn't been solved tomorrow I get my data back from iCloud this weekend and move (back) to Google Calendar. There is an Outlook plugin available for a few pennies that allows you to sync your Outlook calendar (and contacts, etc.) upon demand (pressing a button) while you keep a copy of your calendar files in Outlook - which is much more comforting with seen a potential loss of data in the cloud (and is much faster). Google Calendar synchronizes like a breeze with iPhone and iPad and the web app is much, much faster too.

The problem that started this thread (repeating events disappearing) was solved in mid-February 2013. All recent posts (probably beginning January 2014) are a different problem, which I for one am not experiencing. I suggest a new thread be started for this newer problem, perhaps back-referencing this thread for similar complaints. I was one of the original complainers in early 2013, and my problem was completely resolved in Feb 2013.

I agree with ApBear. The problem we had in this thread has been thankfully fixed for a year now and I have not experienced any similar problems since.

You're better off starting a new thread for the problems you're experiencing.

I am a neubie in this group, i am joining because i am having a problem in my calendars, that suddenly LOST all of it's data, it's synched to 7 devices, and we couldn't find it in each one of it. Calendar it's really needed in the job that we do, now we don't know what to do, because once the calendars data lost, we lost track for every business that we did and we lost the timeline and appointment for our upcoming events as well, we need help badly PLEASE.. Looks like this Post/Thread is an old one but we are having issues with events disappearing from our Calendar - on our Macs and iPhones. We can enter an event (details) and then, when we click away, the event disappears or the event stays there but the details are deleted.

This has been happening for the past few months from our devices - all using the same iCloud account - iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iMac, MacBook Pro (x2) and Mac Pro.

Previously, we have used our iCloud calendar with no issues. This, however, is getting REALLY annoying. Is there a 'fix'?
