Cannot Connect to iPhone Software update server or iTunes Store.

I am trying to restore my iPhone 4 (My old iPhone before I got the 5), but for whatever reason it won't let me connect to the iPhone Software Update server or the iTunes Store via iTunes. I am running the latest version of iTunes.

I have no idea why it won't connect. I've googled it to try and find the answer, but nothing helped. I've allowed apple on my firewall, made sure proxy server was off, automatically choose network settings, etc. etc. I still am not able to connect, and I don't know why.
