I need help with my ipad mini!
I have an ipad mini that's 3 weeks old and got water damage is it covered under the replacement plan
iPad, iOS 5.0.1
I am afraid water damage is not covered by the warranty.
Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT

Most unlikely as accidental damage is not covered. Take it to your local Apple store or AASP and ask their opinion. They may or may not offer to exchange it.
If you purchased Apple Care +, then it may qualify for one of your two allowed 'accidental damage' repairs with the $49 service fee.
