How do I remove "googleadservices.com"? It interrupts moving to a clicked link and reroutes me to a blank page with the address: www.googleadservices.com". Thanks.

Step 1

i have the same problem. whenever i want to open a particular link it leads me to a blank page and it says googleadservices.com. i've heard that this is a virus. can you help me get rid of this? i don't want to compromise my information stored in my laptop. thanks.
If you've installed "NetBarrier," remove it according to the developer's instructions, after backing up all data.
I have not installed NetBarrier, however, I subscribe to Itego VirusBarrier X6, and it has an update application called NetUpdate. Perhaps one of my settings needs to be changed, but which one(s)?
From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions
If any extensions are installed, disable them and test.
