Archer Season Pass

Wondering why the fourth episode of Archer season four not available to download in my season pass? It's in the store, but says I have to pay.

Here's the reply I got from iTunes Support today...they have no idea what the issue is.



"Welcome to iTunes Store Customer Support. My name is Vaishak and I am glad to assist you today.


I understand that you did not receive the latest episode of purchased Season Pass "Archer, Season 4," and I'm sorry for the inconvenience.


Kelly, please be assured that the iTunes Store is currently working toward a resolution of the issue and hopes to have it resolved shortly. I will contact you again when the matter has been investigated and more information is available.


Thank you for your patience. We want your iTunes experience to be as enjoyable as possible."

Sigh. I too, purchased an "Archer" season 4 pass. I too, have been unable to download episode 4 w/out paying for it again. I emailed support and eventually received a polite reply indicating "Apple is currently working toward a resolution for the issue". I waited 24 hours and requested an iTunes Store credit.


I've received no reply to that request, but I suggest we all request store credits.

Update: I got my email notification that the latest episode of The Walking Dead was available for download (the show has been on a 2-3 month hiatus; I bought my Season Pass last year when their season started), but still no Archer.


And I went back to my bank and double-checked: yes, I've been charged for my Archer Season Pass. I ain't paying again.


Please fix this, Apple.

Like everyone else, I too had this problem, so I purchased it. When they charged me, I reported it as a problem and they quickly gave me a credit for the purchase (I would have preferred a refund, but close enough). This is not the first time I've had a problem with pre-purchasing a season. If Apple is going to get serious about this, they need to fix this problem.

I received an email receipt from Apple just now saying "Midnight Ron" was available and it's listed as 1 not 4. I think you're right, OhKellyO, they may have reset it. Anyway, I opened up iTunes and the episode immediately began downloading so the issue appears to be fixed for me (hopefully for everyone else also) but the real test will be later this week when a new episode, "Vicious Coupling" is aired and released. Stay tuned, folks. 🙂
