Archer Season Pass

Wondering why the fourth episode of Archer season four not available to download in my season pass? It's in the store, but says I have to pay.

I'm having the same problem. I have to say, in the past, I have always been REALLY impressed with the possibility of finding an explanation and/or solution for even the most esoteric problems that I've had with my mac/ipod/iphone on the Apple Support Communities site (even when there are different/conflicting explanations and/or solutions...). This is the first time when I've run across such a well-documented, seemingly frequent problem for which there is no good explanation and/or solution from the Community (there is a BAD explanation and no solution from iTunes support, on the other hand ...). DCWATER2010, if you look around, you'll find that this problem with season pass episodes not downloading in a timely manner seems to have been a problem with iTunes for several years, and the response for iTunes support that is regularly re-posted appears to be: "have patience, it will be available eventually ..." despite the fact that it appears to be available already for folks without a season pass. So, no solution here, but, this seems to be a chronic problem and there doesn't seem to be a good explanation and/or solution out there ... unless I've missed it (quite possible) ... I just wish I had my new Archer episode to make the pain and frustration go away ...

It's after noon in the Pacific time zone and I'm still unable to watch, either on my MBP via iTunes or on my Apple TV. I've signed out of my account on each machine, rebooted each piece of hardware... still nothin'. The new episode shows up as available for purchase but I am not buying this episode twice; I already have a Season Pass (as confirmed by my email receipt, and in the iTunes Store page for Archer).

Is it just me or is it just the HD version that appears available? I bought this season in Standard Def (because animation doesn't really look that much worse in SD than HD). I wonder if that's the problem?

(On a completely unrelated note, and I'm sure this is the networks doing and not Apple, but I hate that I have to sit through commercials on each of these episodes in spite of having handed over money to Apple and FX. Grrrr.)

I'm in the same boat. I bought the season pass (SD version) last week, it downloaded the first three episodes and now the fourth will not download unless I pay for it. Huh? Very disappointed. My account clearly indicates I bought the season pass for Archer season 4 and I even received the receipt from Apple showing my season pass purchase. I've been clicking the "Check for available downloads" but... nothing. My girlfriend told me a certain other service only charges you when each episode in your season pass becomes available. *sigh* Should have listened. Fix this, Apple.

I am having the same issue after not having any issue with the first three episodes. What is really strange is that I have Apple Care for my iMac and have tried to call in based off of a technical issue (as to avoid getting put off to the iTunes Store web support) and the automated computer keeps saying, "I'm having difficulty." And then he hangs up on me... I'm really frustrated. Apple has usually been very good about fixing issues.

Having the same problem here as well.

Purchased a season pass for the SD version. But the problem seems to affect the HD version as well.

I haven't had many problems with season passes in the past. Either the whole season was already available and all the episodes downloaded, or there was only a very short delay (one or two hours) between when the episode was made available and when I could download it. 24+ hours and counting is ridiculous for something I shelled out a decent amount of cash for upfront. I don't think I'll be purchasing season passes in the future.

For what it's worth, I emailed iTunes support earlier yesterday and got a couple of "we're looking into it" responses. The first asked me to go to my "purchases page" to download the episode there, but I replied with a screenshot showing that nope not available to download. Later that day I got an email from a new support person saying she'd taken over the issue but she only works 3 hours a day and wouldn't you know it, she's no longer in the office and won't be back until Monday afternoon (Pacific time).

Disappointed.

I am also experiencing this issue. The responses I have gotten from Apple support have been pretty pathetic so far. The basic message is: be patient, we'll fix it eventually.

I don't understand why it is so hard to resolve this problem. The episode is available for purchase. It has been since Friday morning. It shouldn't be difficult for Apple to flip the switch to make it available for people who have purchased the Season Pass.

I regret that I did not buy this content from Amazon Instant Video.
