Does anyone out there have any accurate information on virus affecting mac's.
This is from our resident "virus expert": http://www.reedcorner.net/mmg/
If you have specific questions, you should ask them.
I have tried all the recomended solutions but to no avail meanwhile the messages keep pouring in.
Klaus1 was able to give me the contact details for these people and I have wisely or as my wife say's you fool sent a message to them asking them to stop. I have had auto generated reply to say they have got the message but that was 24 hours ago.
If I ignore them and keep deleting page after page will it eventually stop?

In my experience, yes, but from your descriptions I have never been inundated with anywhere near that many bad addresses. Nor have I ever received anything at all from that particular service. I'm hopeful that they have some kind of an issue on their end and they will come back from the weekend and fix it or at least get back to you with some sort of explanation.
Earlier Klaus1 asked you for a few things and I haven't seen your responces back to him:
Can you copy/paste one of the messages here?
Who is your ISP?
Have you tried to email anyone with a iomart email address?
Your answer to the last one was that you had sent them 3 e-mails, but they hadn't replied. That wasn't the question he asked, however.
Yes is the answer to the question about who I emailed It was to my shipping company that I have emailed a 100 times over 20 years and never had anything like this.
My ISP is not mine but at a relitives house I am staying at in Malaysia while on holiday. Streamyx
I can not seem to paste the message to your reply I could probably forward it but them you might have the same problem. I will try here.

Klaus1 should be returning to comment on this, but it would seem that the e-mail server for kingstownshipping is down and the last site responsible for delivering it (iomart) is simply informing you that it will keep trying. Hopefully somebody from kingstownshipping or their e-mail provider came into work today and rebooted the server.

Yep, that is certainly what it looks like.
I am happy to say that the flood of messages has now stopped. I rang Kingstown and told them what was happening and they have no knowledge of iomart and have never heard of them.
It is a mystery but thankfully it has ended.
I WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE OUT THERE FOR THEIR SUPPORT AND HELP WITH THIS IRRITATING PROBLEM.
THANKS GUY'S

THANKS KLAUS. Please refer to my reply to MadMacs.
Glad you got it fixed! 🙂

There is no reason for Kingstown to have heard of them. They are just the last mail server site in the chain responsible for delivering mail sent from you.
