Hi Anatoly,

I downloaded your Gannt chart fromhttps://yadi.sk/d/EsoDdJ303Fi4m6 and opened it in Numbers for Mac. Excellent work!

A 2D Stacked Bar Chart with white fill for Start Date. So simple!

I deleted some rows (items) from Table 1 but the chart Y axis stayed at 35 items, with no bars for the missing items.

To make the chart more interactive, we can select whole Columns A, B and C in table 1

and insert a new 2D Stacked Bar (Table and Chart are both on the same Sheet for clarity):

Now we can add (or delete) items (I added Item 12 to Table 1)

User uploaded file

and the chart automatically updates.

Thank you for such a simple solution to this 4 1/2 year old question!

Regards,

Ian.

Pham and Markus,

I have sent the template to both of you. For others who may want to have me send a copy of the template, it is better to either send me an email request directly, or to reveal your email address in your profile preferences rather than to place your email address in your post. The reason is that email addresses in your posts are readable by anyone, forever. Your email address on your profile page is only viewable by registered users of this forum, and after I have sent you the template you can again hide your address in the profile, if you wish.
