On my iPhone, the chosen language is indicated all the time on the space bar. Not so on the space bar of my iPad, only when languages are changes. I would like it to be indicated permanently, too. How do I do that? Thanks!

Where (what app) do you see it "permanantly" indicated on the iPhone? It doesn't in Safari, Mail, Pages or Messages

My iPod with iOS 6 shows the word "space" permanently on the space bar in the language of the keyboard for Mail, Pages, Safari, Notes, etc. I think that is what he is referring to. Your iphone doesn't do that?
Yep, I do see it, but based on teh OP I was looking for a concise indicator of the language applied, which isn't there. That just a translated label for the space bar. I guess it serves the purpose, however.
I see it in all apps. It shows "space" when in English, "espacio" when in Spanish and "Leerzeichen" when in German. But only on the iPhone, not the iPad.

Yes, I am wondering why James Ward4 does not see it. The iPad does not have have this, and I gave you the link earlier for where to ask Apple to add it.
