My ipod (5th gen-32gb) has been crashing constantly, and 3 of my headphones have stopped working ever since i got the ipod. just recently my ipod crashed and i havent been able to turn it back on. ive tried everything! help.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I would also go to the Apple store and discuss the headphone problmes.
Thanks for your help lllaass. I'll try draining the battery and I'm going to the Genius Bar tomorrow. I wont do recovery or DFU mode because I'm scared I'll loose everything. (I have very important things on my ipod.) Any other suggestions?
No, nothing else. It is likely that the iPod will be erased to regain use of the iPod.
