why won't pages download to my mac
Been trying to download Pages so I can transfer word to pages and thence to Ibooksauthor - stubbornly resists all attempts to download - anyone know why?

You are talking about Pages for your iPhone?
Do you have enough room left on the iPhone? Pages is quite large.
But since you are talking about iBooks Author, that is for a Mac which you haven't mentioned.
If so what version of OSX are you running and are you buying Pages from the App Store?
