I have a MacBook Pro 13" Mid-2009, Model # A1278
I need to buy a new battery for it...
Which online store offers that kind of battery? And I want to buy the original, not a fake or anything else!
I am abroad and a friend of mine offered to buy it for me in the states...

Buy from a reputable Apple reseller or from Apple.
But Apple do not offer batteries on their online store, the ones they only offer are rechargable external ones! I would buy from Apple directly if they do...
What other Apple resellers I should look for?

I am looking to replace my MBP's internal battery!
The built in batteries in the newer uni-body models are not user replaceable, thus Apple won't have them available. Not sure if other battery suppliers would have them available.

Well, I think I can change it myself, I don't see it as an impossible thing to do at a user level, yet users vary with technical levels, don't they 😝
I am capable of changing it on my own, I just want to know where to get it from, since I am abroad and I don't have any Apple store around and I am in need of a new internal battery, that's the issue!
