Late 2009 iMac 27" wifi issues

Guy's I have been having continuous problems with my iMac and connecting to the internet.

I wanted to know from someone at Apple or expertise in this faulty area what the best solution is.

Apple have released a few software fixes for this problem, but it seems to still persist - even to this day.

Does this solution work and is it safe to do this (regarding future updates)...
