How do you earn points to gain levels?

Answer questions. On rare occasions, a question is answered correctly. On even more rare occasions, the person that originally asked the question will decide upon an answer that is correct, and so indicate by clicking the This solved my question button. The person answering gets ten points regardless of whether that question was correctly answered or not. Sufficient points are accumulated to create interesting geometrical shapes beneath the person's chosen avatar.
