poor battery life AFTER updated to 6.1.2

I just updated to iOS 6.1.2, and now my battery life seems to be worse than before. As I am typing this, I have seen my battery % tick down 1%. There are no apps running.

It seems that this update is making my Iphone 5 still worser!!! 😠 My Iphone had a great battery before the releases of 6.1 and 6.2... This morning I found myself with all my battery drained from 75% to 0... Fortunately, I woke up on time without my alarms set on my Iphone and I have to go to my job place later.

I am very deceived and really rely on my old smartphone (from the Apple rival) that had an amazing battery and never drained being set as my alarm clocks in two days without charing.

Apple please urgently fix this problem!!! I am tired of resetting, erasing, DFUs, backupping and many things that don't work.

Or give is the chance of going back to the OS 6.01 for the ones that worked! My battery life before this disaster today lasted 2 days without charging. Now from 0S 6.1 and 6.2 it doesn't last a whole day and the total draining today has really made me angry. I cannot rely on this phone as an alarm clock or even as a normal phone.

Iphone users deserve a solution soon! Or I will give back my Iphone and ask for my money back.

A very unhappy Apple products user (until I bought an Iphone 5)

Since the 6.1.2 my phones have been overheating battery life decreasing etc.

i have now changed the email from push to fetch which has cooled the casing down to normal levels however it if its the only way i can keep anysort of battey life i will be replacing the phone.

I need the push setting for work use to stay upto date with emails, its not viable using the check every 15 mins setting nor is the manual check option. Until the issue is resolved im stuck with phones both mine and my employees that are not fit for purpose.

The lack of help so far from apple has been far from exemplary and my local store has led to a redefining of the word genius. Being told apps are to blame and not to use the functions they where purchased for is just...

If after a few days of this occuring the battery is permamently damaged i will be leaving apple.

My handsets are purchased directly and not supplied from mobile phone contracts, they are not covered on insurance for damage from a software update.
