WIFI - Keeps randomly stopping (nothing todo with my connection/router)

when i use the internet on my iMac it will randomly stop working then the only way for me to get it working again is disconnecting then reconnecting my wifi can someone tell me how to fix this and its nothing todo with my router or internet connection

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7), lion

Firstly make sure your OS is fully updated to 10.7.5 because Apple have issued a couple of 'fixes' designed to resolve wifi problems. Even so, some still seem to have problems. The information in this link has helped some, but not everybody unfortunately. Also check the links within the article:
