When I got my iPod touch 4th gen, I had it connected to a PC computer. Well, that computer crashed and I got a MacBook. Can I connect my iPod to said computer without loosing anything or corrupting my iPod's system?

Copy everything from your backup copy of your pc to your Mac, then sync.
My PC completely crashed. I can't even get on it.
I understand.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very reason.
Have you failed to do this?
Yes, unfortunately. I did not back up any of my music, which is my #1 concern at this moment. My computer actually crashed nearly 3 years ago. I have been charging my iPod with a wall charger all these years. Though all my iTunes bought music is on my Mac, all of my other music I accumulated over the years is now solely on my iPod and I do not want to loose it. But, at the same time, I want to add more music to it.
Do you see my delimma?
The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. the only exception is itunes purchases.
You may be able to purchase a program to get the other music, not supported by Apple.
I do not follow.
Please, someone help me.
