App Store updates not working?

My iPad 3 still dont work, i tried "purchase" But it just gives me a pop-up message "request expired" :(

Found a solution, you just have to reset the network settings, close the app store in multi-task before you reset it, and then launch it:)

I Worked for me.

I don't have any apps that need updates. Hitting the Update button in the App Store just spins the busy cog regardless of if you do/don't have any app updates.

does it work for iphone 5 too??

All is working fine now. I didn't have to reset network settings or anything like that. It just started working...at least here on my end.

Georgemandas - I think that was coincidence. As several of us have reported, the problem is intermittent.

When I hit catagories in the app store on the ipad it gives me an error, so the problem is still out there.

Apple dont know the problem yet, try look at this (http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/).

I faced the Same Issue. It is resolved by changing the language at Settings-->General-->International-Language. Change the Current Language ( I have changed it from British English to English). Then after a succesful change, Go to Appstore- Updates. The Issue is resolved. Now go back to your original Setting (if required)

sandeepgv - I believe your solution is only coincidence. Others have tried it without result. This is not a problem with the device, it is at Apple's end. There is another thread over 10 pages long with many possible resolutions, but the only one that really works is to just sit back and try again later. Don't waste your time and energy. The updates will still be there when it finally does work, and it will.
