hi, i cant find the airplay button on my iphone,ipad and apparently it should all ready be there is there a setting i should go on? i dont have a apple tv though

Then what do you intend to mirror to?

When AirPlay is available, you double tap the home button, and slide from left to right twice on the bar that opens at the bottom.

i might be getting one but do you have to download it or something ?? can you find it in settings if so can you write it down step by step \???

There is no setting for it, and it will not appear until available.
