Printer settings help - PostScript printer??

Hi,

I have a printing problem I've been unable to get help with.

My Epson TX200 prints all Word documents and some other text files in grey instead of black, and the text has (white) lines/spaces through it.

If I select the check box in Word settings when I am about to print a file that says something about PostScript printers, it works normally, but I can't select this option in Preview or if I am printing from Safari etc. It is very frustrating and I really want to fix it.

Many thanks in advance.

Your model, EPSON Stylus TX200, is listed in Printer and scanner software available for download, but those drivers are for 10.6 onward. Unless your signature is not updated you have 10.5.5, isn't it?

If you have Snow Leopard, Lion or the latest Mountain Lion the driver update is really simple. Just let your printer plugged in to your computer, do a software update and that's it.
