Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I have a 5 year old iMac with OS 10.5.8. I was able to sync my contacts, calendar and address book with my ipad over wifi even thou I do not have icloud.
I did have mobileme but accidentally logged out a few weeks ago and now I cant not sink anything over wifi. I'm not sure if this is the reason or if there is a separate problem. Any ideas?
It is not going to happen
iCloud needs a Mac on 10.7.2 at least to work
MobileMe has been dead since last June

You can use iCloud Contacts and Calendars with 10.5.8, use Soho Organizer for that. It is not free, or even inexpensive ($99) but it works well and supports 10.5.8 to 10.8.2.
There is a 30 day trial available.
