Can I use HP Photosmart 5520 e-All-In-One to print from OSX 10.5.8, OSX 10.6.8 and iPhone 5?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.8), 10.5.8,10.6.8,6.1.2 & HP 5520

Hi,

You may use the Photosmart 5520 on iPhone 5 as it supports AirPrint, as well you may use it on Mac OS X 10.6.


On Leopard (10.5) however you cannot use the device as it does not meet its system requirements, the printer compatible with Snow Leopard or newer OS versions only.

I was able to connect the printer manually. I first set up the wireless connection in the printer. Then I opened the system preferences of my MacBook, chose 'Printer & Fax" and added the Printer after it was detected wirelessly.I then selected manually the HP Photosmart C5200 series driver. I am also using the scanner via HP ePrint mobile. I set up an account and send the scans to my email account.
