Can I use HP Photosmart 5520 e-All-In-One to print from OSX 10.5.8 (Leopard), 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) and iPhone 5?

try "HP ePrint" app from AppStore it works with mackbook, iphone and my mini ipad.

You may use the Photosmart 5520 on iPhone 5 as it supports AirPrint, as well you may use it on Mac OS X 10.6.

On Leopard (10.5) however you cannot use the device as it does not meet its system requirements, the printer compatible with Snow Leopard or newer OS versions only.

Hi,

You may still find a bit older HP models (several months to 1 year old) which do support AirPrint and compatible with 10.5 as well..

As example you may find the HP Photosmart 5510, 6510 or 7510 models, Officejet 4620, Officejet 6700, etc.

Any of the models mentioned above do meet those requirements.

I was able to connect the printer manually. I first set up the wireless connection in the printer. Then I opened the system preferences of my MacBook, chose 'Printer & Fax" and added the Printer after it was detected wirelessly.I then selected manually the HP Photosmart C5200 series driver. I am also using the scanner via HP ePrint mobile. I set up an account and send the scans to my email account.

I think you have to have the usb unplugged for the first part.

Any one else as technically challenged and me - Make sure you put the disc that comes with the printer in the driver before you start. It used it for something. But is works.
