Linked to wrong link.......

Hello,

I´m from norway so i appologize for my not so perfect english.

My question is why I suddenly get pop-ups and get directed to commercial site when pointing mouse over link text ( those light blue words)?

Other questions is what to do to get rid of these annoying false links?

I installed virusbarrier x6 and bitdefender but these do not find/see any problem.

I bought a mac as apple would have little to no problems with spam etc, it seems I was wrong informed although most information cam from the internet. So I´m I unlucky or is this a problem everyone has?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

You are not unlucky. Actually you are lucky.

These are the websites that allow these ads to make money to maintain the sites.

Safari has no control over it.

Avoid these fake hyper links as fare as possible.

Steer away the mouse pointer from these links.

Spam cannot be avoided. It is annoying, but it is not a virus or malware (although some of it should be called that!).

Do consider uninstalling both Virus barrier and bid defender now.

I think the language issue is preventing us from getting a good feel for the problem. However, it sounds to me like you are seeing certain words underlined, with ads popping up from those underlined words, on sites where this should not normally be occurring. What sites do you see this behavior with?
