I keep getting a message that who i call is not available for facetime- what does that mean when they have an ipad that is always left on and in the general settings it look like their wireless is working.

FaceTime works over WiFi. You can only FaceTime with another user that has already registered to use FaceTime on their device and it only works on iOS devices and Mac computers and their devices must be turned on in order for you to reach them.
If they are registered and you have FaceTimed with them in the past, then their device is turned off or it is offline.

Actually, Demo, depending on the device and the carrier, FaceTime now works over cellular was well.
Thanks for that Meg

Yes, you are correct and I did not include that as I should have. Thanks Meg! 🙂
Eventually, the changes are going to be too fast for any of us to keep up with! 😉
