black ipad screen wont turn on

This fixed it for me! Knock three times on tha apple on the back and suddenly all is good.

Can't do anything to get iPad air Started

i Have tried all the steps in the post and reply with not luck still have black screens on 3 different iPads

Is there a way to fix that that I have not tried yet

Thanks Stanjman! It worked!! I had to hit it about 20 times though. Worked when I whacked it a few times pretty hard with the back of a plastic ladle.

My iPad mini screen went black i was freaking out i did what u said and held down the home and power button and I thought I would lose everything but it's still there thanks

Can't even imagine that this worked.. was thinking it as a joke but with no choice tried and it worked.. Not sure of the technical clitch behind this !
