I get this message on my Facebook news feed when someone posts a YouTube video. Don't know why. It's worked fine for years. I am using Safari on my iPad. If I use the Facebook app it works fine. Any thoughts.

Are you still using iOS 5.0.1? if so, then update
I am up to date with my iPad and get the message as well. But at the end it added.....rights are not gifts from the government.
The original poster listed out-of-date software, and many people think they are up to date, but in fact aren't. Anyway, if you are up to date, sounds like an issue with the FB app.
I saw it today on an embedded link on facebook, and my software is up to date so, in this case, dont' think old software is the issue.
I can see the link fine on Firefox on my PC. So facebook has an issue with mobile safari, or mobile safari has an issue with some links in posts.
hmm, I could not get that link to open in Safari, Firefox or Chrome on my MBP.
One person in my feed has a link that shows that error message so I've seen it 'for real'
When I look at her post on my PC I see the link but not the embed box, look at it on my iPad and I see hte error code
This is exactly what I'm experiencing. My software is up to date. It is fine using the FB app and it is fine using Firefox on my PC. It only appears using Safari browser.
I done loaded the youtube app and I can open the youtube posts no problem but the denied access is still embedded on top off the post.
Maybe FB is just trying to give me a bad time?
I see on my original post it says "iPad 2 iOS 5.0.1" but that's not true. I am running 6.1.2 like I said, I don't understand it!
It seems to be on most posts with video link....bet it is a problem between You Tube and Apple. Alot of video links on fb won't work and call for quick time to be installed, but there isn't a fix for that either that I know of!
I started having the same issue yesterday using Safari on Facebook. At first, I'd click on the preview and get an error that the video failed to load. A couple hours later the error messages are all over the screen where a preview would normally appear. Oddly enough I can access these videos using the YouTube app.
I'm using an original iPad with iOS 5.1.1 which is the newest system available for this model.

It's definitely a Safari issue. I just tried accessing a Facebook YouTube with Puffin and everything was fine.
I'm having the same problem. It seems to be the facebook posts which have video. Perhaps it is interesting to the debuggers that the error message says "You don't have permission to access 'http://fbexternal-a.akamaihd.net/embed/?' on this server." Also interesting that the problem does not exist on the iPhone - which automatically directs me to the "m.facebook.com" mobile version of the site. Using the "m.facebook.com" version on the iPad also works just fine, and the Facebook App works fine, too.
Same problem with Safari and icab browser.
Solve it for icab browser, change the browser ID to Firefox from safari or general ID.
Open Icab
Go settings
In browser ID , change to Firefox 17
And the problem is solved.
