Going back to Snow Leopard
I just posted this to the Snow Leopard group. Thought maybe this group might have an opinion.
I bought a Mac Pro over two years ago with Snow Leopard. Everything was fine. Servicing an iphone had me upgrade to Mountain Lion - tech's advice. I did not know what a disaster that would be. But has been to the point where I want to go back to Snow Leopard. A few questions.
-Does the software exist to do this? Apple sells an upgrade online for $20. Having software that will completely install the OS is penultimate.
-This would mean copying everything off my Mac HD reformatting and installing the OS?
-I would then have to reinstall all my software?
It sounds like agony, but many of my applications aren't running well. I just discovered that DVD Studio Pro is behaving very badly - like I don't think I can use it at all anymore. The options here on out are not optimal.
Mountain Lion has been no fun with my "Legacy" programs.
