My ipod has a white shine on the screen when I try to use it

User uploaded file

My Ipod dropped and cracked a little bit about a month ago near the power button, not on the screen itself. Today when I started it up it had this white see thru haze whenever i start it up. Anyone know what could have caused this.

Sure seems like the damage caused by the crack/dropping is progressing. However,

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: How to back up

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Apple Retail Store - Genius Bar

If defective, Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.
